Solution Preparation

  1. Use clean water and begin agitation before adding powder.
  2. Add the powder gradually to avoid agglomeration.
  3. Continue mixing until the required uniformity is achieved.
  4. Check pH, viscosity, residue and compatibility before adding other formulation components.

Dissolution time depends on water temperature, mixing energy, concentration and the complete formulation. Determine the practical concentration and addition sequence through a laboratory trial.

Typical Industrial Functions

  • Dispersing aid in compatible water-based slurries
  • Binder for selected pellets, granules and formed materials
  • Processing aid in ceramics, minerals, refractory and cementitious systems
  • Formulation ingredient where a dry, accurately dosed lignosulfonate is preferred

Packaging and Storage

Standard packing is 25 kg woven bags with an inner liner. Store sealed bags in a cool, dry and ventilated area, protected from moisture and contamination. Use suitable dust-control and handling procedures according to the SDS and local workplace requirements.
